Here is the recipe:
Pizza dough (use whatever recipe you want, this is what we use)
2 fennel bulbs, sliced
2 T butter
2 T sugar
8 oz. Italian sausage
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded
Caramelize fennel in butter and sugar for 30 minutes. Cook sausage.
Top dough with mozzarella cheese, caramelized fennel, and sausage. Bake at 425 for 12 minutes.
