This documentary captures the life of its 24-year-old protagonist, Nev, and what has evolved into his weird faceboook relationship with this family from Michigan. But then, what really makes the movie, just kind of falls into their laps in a way that wasn't expected. (Kind of like what happened with Capturing the Friedmans.)
And that is where the real heart of the movie begins. It's a very interesting look at what makes people do the things they do. The movie was handled delicately, which, in other hands, might have felt a bit exploitative.
