Day 9. It is finally starting to get a bit greasy at the roots. I think you can tell a bit in this picture. Ends are still fairly dry.
I've started a new October tradition. Every week, I will buy a pie pumpkin, and make a new pumpkin dish. This is what I have made so far:
Pumpkin and Bacon Pasta
Pumpkin and Feta Salad
Pumpkin Chili
Pumpkin Cheesecake Muffins
Roasted Vegetable Cake with Ricotta Cheese
Pumpkin Pancakes (we just add pumpkin to the Nourishing Traditions recipe)
I am also very keen on Halloween events. If you live in the Twin Cities area, here is a good link for Halloween happenings in the area. I printed out some things that were of interest to us, and hung it up on the wall, titling it "The Kuznia Family's Halloween Adventures".
As you can see, tomorrow is going to be a very busy day for us. We won't be able to do all the things, I just like to have them organized so we can pick and choose what we do want to do.

I tried going back to rate your tops on the 1-10 scale, but it wouldn't let me comment.
On side note, I took the kids to see a great band and they are coming your way next month. They are the Caravan of Thieves http://caravanofthieves.com/
and they'll be at The Dakota on Nov. 14th.
Super fun, very talented and a bit silly, too. They have a good song "Raise the Dead" that's a good one for Day of the Dead celebrations and a song "Candy" that goes with Halloween.
Check 'em out and let me know what you think.
