Baby Turds

We started Peace on food a couple of weeks ago (and, yes, she is just 11 months), and it is amazing how her poop has changed already. I mean, one day she has just five little peas, and that somehow magically changes her poop from a squishy, liquidy-type mess into a solid little turd that she kind of has to work at pushing out. Weird.

Seriously? Mine has been on some solids for a couple months and her poop hasn't changed much. No where close to what you are describing. Huh.

Anyways, what does Peace think of solids? Are the big kids having fun sharing food?

I thought the same when Anna started foods. It was such a bummer to go from those easy-cleaning breastmilk poops to turds. I think it's funny how hard she pushes to get them out.

My daughter Violet just started solids @12 months. Good-by caramel cakes, hello crazy stinky kaka.

It is amazing how 3-4 blueberries can act as a kind of poo-glue.

We hear ya on the turd balls. The one good thing was it made it easier to EC with the poop. Prior to solids, he'd grunt-splat and it was all over with. Now he has to push for a good few seconds so I can usually get him to the potty, yea!
