My Sister, My Husband
Every three months, I do this thing called Boobs and Brunch for my photography business. (I got the idea from this blog post.) Basically, it's where I offer mini-sessions at a reduced rate, capturing the nursing relationship between mother and child.
So, I was promoting this event on my facebook page, and this is how my sister responded, and then my husband's response to my sister's response:

Love that hubby of yours! Great response! And I'll see you there. I'm excited to have professional pictures of nursing my babe. Why? Because I have pictures of everything else!

Another question is this: Why so touchy? If you call something "Boobs and Brunch" you obviously have a sense of humor, so maybe it's better not to take things so seriously. Or else it would be called "Boobs and Brunch: A Philosophical and Visual Gathering That Celebrates the Mother-Child Bond in a Way That No One Should Find Odd Even Though It Might Be."
Just admit it's quirky and enjoy it! The long response doesn't diffuse the criticism, it will probably just make the critic (the sister) feel correct in thinking you're obsessed with topless breakfasts.
L - Remember, the long response was from my husband. I had the short response, right before his. And I don't think either of us were being "touchy". We were just giving appropriate responses to my sister's statements.
well, i majorly wish i still lived in minneapolis, so i could be at that brunch. i would love a picture with my little guy... and also, i thought your sister might like to know that my church just had a men's breakfast called, "porn and pancakes". just sayin'...
