Apple Prosciutto Pizza

Average rating of 7.2. (Peace and Ocean drove this number down. Vernon and Allison both rated the pizza high, see video.)

Here is the recipe:

Pizza dough (use whatever recipe you want, this is what we use)

Prosciutto Crumble:
4 oz prosciutto
1/2 cup pepitas, toasted
2 T butter
2 T fresh sage, chopped
Bake prosciutto at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until crisp. Allow to cool and add to food processor. Add toasted pepitas and pulse until a fine crumb. Heat a skillet and add butter. Add crumb mixture. Toast the mixture for about 5 minutes and then add sage. Cook for another minute. Set aside.

Pizza:
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
2 T butter
1-1/2 cups apple juice
1 large honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced
8 oz cheese, shredded
4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
Caramelize onions in butter for about 10 minutes. Add apple juice and cook until all liquid is evaporated, about 15 minutes. Set aside.

Add caramelized onions in even layer on top of dough. Add apples in single layer. Add both cheeses.

Bake at 400 degrees for 13 minutes.

Top with prosciutto crumble and serve.

Caramelized Apple, Bacon and Blue Cheese Pizza

Average rating of 7.0. (Although, this was thrown off by Peace's dislike of the blue cheese.)

Here is the recipe:

Pizza dough (use whatever recipe you want, this is what we use)

1 red onion, thinly sliced
2 cups cheese
8 oz blue cheese
2 apples, thinly sliced
8 oz bacon, chopped
1-2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped

Cook red onion with some butter in skillet for 10 minutes, until soft and caramelized. Add bacon and cook 5 more minutes.

Sprinkle pizza dough with mozzarella cheese and blue cheese. Top with onion bacon mixture, and then sliced apple and rosemary.

Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.

Thai Chicken Pizza

Average rating of 8.4.

Here is the recipe:

Pizza dough (use whatever recipe you want, this is what we use)

1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ginger powder
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 T olive oil
1/2 tsp. fish sauce
4 T Thai sweet chili sauce
1 1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
1/2 c. very warm water
1 c. shredded chicken

4 T Thai sweet chili sauce
2 cups shredded cheese
8 oz. bean sprouts
2 cups shredded carrots
1/4 c. chopped peanuts

Mix first 8 ingredients in blender. Add more water as needed to thin out (I needed to add at least 1 cup more).

Spread pizza dough on cookie sheet. Spread the next 4 T of Thai sweet chili sauce, as well as most of the peanut butter mixture. Top with chicken and cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.

Top cooked pizza with bean sprouts and carrots. Drizzle with some of the remaining sauce. (You'll have some sauce leftover. Don't add it all. This was something I regret doing when I made this.) Top with chopped peanuts and serve.

Shakshuka Pizza

Average rating of 7.5 (although Ezra's low vote probably swayed it down a bit).

Here is the recipe:

Pizza dough (use whatever recipe you want, this is what we use)
2 T butter
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tsp cumin
a large pinch of sugar
salt and pepper, to taste
2 T tomato paste
2 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
8 eggs
8 oz crumbled feta

Heat the butter in a pot over medium and add the onion. Cook until soft and translucent, 5-7 minutes. Add the garlic, cumin, sugar, a good pinch of salt, and some black pepper, and cook for 1 minute. Add the tomato paste and diced tomatoes and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.

Spread dough in cookie sheet. Top the pizza with the tomato sauce, create 8 wells on top of pizza, and then crack the eggs into them. sprinkle with feta, and then bake at 400 for 15 minutes, or until eggs are set.
